ITC2024 has successfully completed

From August 30th to September 13th, the on-site course of the International Training Course (ITC) on Disaster Risk Management of Cultural Heritage 2024, 18th year, Ritsumeikan University in collaboration with ICCROM was held.
Together with the online course, which took place from 29th July to 23rd August, the entire programme has successfully completed.

The aim of the training course is to provide participants from all over the world, mainly mid-career practitioners in cultural heritage disaster management, with theoretical and practical knowledge on cultural heritage risk management.

Since last year, the first half held online via Zoom and the second half held onsite in Japan.

This year’s participants included 13 selected participants and 2 student interns, plus 2 participants invited under the MoU with ICOMOS Phillipines, for a total of 17 participants.

We all feel so fortunate that we could complete the course with their enthusiasm and commitment.
