11th Collaborative Workshop “Policy Formulation for Urban Development and Conservation of Historical and Cultural Areas in Kyoto”
11th Collaborative Workshop “Policy Formulation for Urban Development and Conservation of Historical and Cultural Areas in Kyoto” was held at Kinugasa Campus of Ritsumeikan University, from 2nd to 10th March, 2014. About forty students from Thailand Thammasat University and Ritsumeikan University participated it.
The workshop was proposed to provide an opportunity for the students and faculty from the two universities to exchange cultures and friendships. The key approach of this workshop was by learning from practice and group discussion. Kyoto city, the location of the workshop, is a historical city where it has been developed as a livable city. The lessons and experiences learnt from Kyoto will be valuable to the students.

41 students, consisting of 31 students from Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University and 10 students from College of Policy Science, Ritsumeikan University
